About

There are approximately 2800 school-aged children in Gilchrist County. We need your help in finding ways to get those parents and children not already involved in extracurricular activities to take an interest in our programs. Organized sports nourishes and enriches those qualities which contribute to a better citizenry. To this end, we will have made our county a better place in which to live.

All money collected is used in our sports programs.
We do not seek to make money, only better children for our future.

Suwannee Valley Leagues, Inc. (SVL) was honored as 2006 Gilchrist County Outstanding Civic Organization of the Year. We have been in the business of providing recreation to the children in Gilchrist County for twenty years. The idea began with a small group of businessmen that saw a need for the young people in the county to have recreation. The organization, with the assistance of many generous families, has now achieved a great level of success as they provide organized recreation to every child in the county that is willing to put forth the effort to be involved in the team sports of baseball, softball, soccer, football and many other seasonal activities.
